We misunderstand the meaning of the word Placebo if we claim dismissively that  ‘It’s JUST a placebo effect!’

In fact, the placebo effect is not imaginary.  It’s measurable and consistently reproducible in double-blind studies–it’s real as the word real gets.
What I wonder, does it indicate about our use of the word fake, if we insist on it even as the effect is real?
